- Clear copy of your identity document
- Proof of residential address or Company Address (utility bill or Bank Statement first page)
- If the utility bill is not in your name, the owner of the bill must make an affidavit declaring that you live at the address and the utility bill must be attached to the affidavit, with a copy of his identity document
- If you stay at an informal settlement, you must bring a letter with an official date stamp from the ward councilor confirming your residential address
- Certificate of Incorporation or Name Change as issued in terms of the Companies Act, OR founding statement (Company Vehicles)
- Complete and bring along NCP - Notificaiton of Change of Address or Particulars of owner [South African citizen and foreigners]
- Original and certified copy of your identity document issued by your country of origin
- Temporary residence permit

When do I need to do a Change of Address or Particulars?
- When you move to a new home
- When you move to a new office
- Within 21 days of changes
Any changes of the particulars of the vehicle owner or title holder must be done at the appropriate district Licensing Department within 21 days of the changes.
